Brad Miles has 20 years of diverse healthcare communications experience working with large and small biopharmaceutical companies and patient organizations. The Company he founded, BMC Communications, is focused exclusively on providing full service communications services to emerging and established biopharmaceutical companies.
Prior to BMC, Brad helped develop and implement communications strategies for major pharmaceutical clients including GlaxoSmithkline, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Warner-Lambert (Pfizer) and Aventis (Sanofi). His work for these companies included product pre-launch and launches, corporate and divisional positioning and crisis/issues management. Prior to this he was director of communications for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International.
At BMC, Brad and his team have assisted more than 100 companies communicate their missions and potential throughout the complex journey of drug development, regulatory review and commercial introduction. This includes developing the right strategy and messages that impact target audiences, and flawless execution that advances an organization’s objectives. With his combined knowledge of health, science and Wall Street, he has led highly successful national media campaigns that resulted in major stories in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, FORBES, Bloomberg Businessweek, and on broadcast outlets such as CNBC, CBS Evening News, 60 Minutes, and ABC World News Tonight.
Brad and his team are experienced working in a number of important health areas, including cancer, genomics, infectious diseases, orphan diseases, stem cells, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and medical devices. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Valley University, Allendale, MI, and lives with his wife and son in New York City, where he is the family’s primary chef.
